Last night my 4 year old asked me " Mommy what animal do brownies come from?"
I explained where each item that goes into making a brownie came from. It was a fun learning moment.

Been there. I think that's the one moment she was actually happy that we don't eat pork. The rest of the time it's "Why not, they are".

Oh you guys are soo clever! Maybe I can tell my girls some clever stories about veggies to get them munching.
We used to get my kids to eat asparagus after watching Veggie Tales!! (One of my friends from growing up, Ron Smith, was one of the original animators for Veggie Tales!! He was always so creative in high school!)
That's so cool. My kids love Veggie Tales. I'll have to try that with my girls.
I went to middle and High School with Hines Ward, the Super Bowl MVP from two or three years ago. We had trigg together in High School and he used to call me Devil Girl. Maybe it was the combat boots, Cure t-shirts... or the purple hair. He was one of the nicest jocks. Not stuck up, and super smart. A really good guy. Nice to see him make good.
