Have Fall Will Craft

We enjoyed a weekend of crafting, finishing UFO's (unfinished objects), baking cookies, visiting friends, taking fall naps and wrapped it up with praising & worshiping on Sunday.

Here's how I created the Pumpkin in the picture above:
Step 1- Sculpt general pumpkin shape out of aluminum foil.
Step 2- Cover aluminum foil with about a half inch thick layer of air dry clay(not paper clay).
Step 3- let dry about a week.
Step 4 -Paint using Plaid Brand Acrylic Paints ...
*I used a base of umber brown, then the orange and then sponged pearl white lightly over it all.

Tomorrow I'll explain how to create the candy corn in this picture. It's easy as pie!

Here's the sweet puppy I finished painting in watercolor. She'll be off to her new home in Macon, GA soon.

Thanks you Lord for your providence!

More Magical Memories

No matter the time of day the Magic Kingdom is amazing. I'm still strolling through pictures and memories that I'll soon share. And I've got some fun sketches that I'll be posting from the long drive home.

Remebering a Magical Vacation

The little one's were beat... but always eager for the next ride.

Our Family.

There's nothing like a Disney Parade.

Who ever said letting a five year old drive was a good idea? This is me screaming help!

Who needs a passport when you can see so many different countries in one place. Plus no jet lag!

Thanks Dream Come True Vacations! Call Liz to help plan your WDW trip.

Well, not really. But I will be out of pocket for a week or so. I'll be back blogging about our week before you know it.

Swamped Part 2

I'm swamped so for now here are a few oldies.

Today at The Coca-Cola Atlanta Operations Center we the employees are being treated to a private concert by Montgomery Gentry.

Please remember what happened seven years ago and the many families it left shattered.

Honor those who gave.
Remember those lost.

Cathie Inspired Halloween Decor

I painted this on an old drawer front to hang in our living room. It was inspired by Cathie's rolling hilltops with trees and homes.
