Pass the Chicken Plate

I really wanted a nice Rooster plate, something like Kari and Kijsa
would create. So I got out my handy acrylic paint, a plate and started painting. Of course Kari and Kijsa's plate's are using the correct type of paint for glassware and all that. But my serves the "look purpose" and I'm not going to feed anyone on it. So I'm happy.
This is the window seat bench my mother and I built along with the bookcases I had so long wished for. Yippy.

And some antique spice cans from my grandmothers kitchen. I bet the lord is loving her chocolate meringue pie. I miss you mom.

Hugs Yall!

How did I miss all these posts?!! That looks great and makes the room cozy! I love your mom's old spice containers. Whenever I see some, it does bring back memories of being a little girl again in our kitchen!
