A Sweet Gift from a Blog Buddy

I'm a lucky girl. My friend Sandi at whistlestopcooking sent me this beautiful apron. I feel inspired to go in the kitchen and whip up some shepherds pie... for the big holiday coming up that celebrates my heritage... OK very distant heritage, but it's still heritage.

LOVE the apron!! Now you do have to cook :) Are you talking about English or Irish heritage? I'm assuming Irish as St. Patrick's Day is coming quickly!

Irish is sort of my heritage (one Irish great grand--- I think) AND ST Pat.'s Day is my birthday! So I'm doubly Irish.

I shall take you on another British visit in the summer (shall I put you in my pocket?) when we go to visit Chpln Dan.

From one Granny to another...

In your pocket please. Happy soon to be birthday too!
Bethany,
Irish heritage.. we have some German in there and what good southerner doesn't have a little Cheroke. I'll have to post a pic of my first relative to come over in the so called famine. You'll get a kick out of his beard.
Thanks Jessica. I do love that apron.
