A large canvas and a fish

This is the top of my coffee table. Given new life as a painting to go over our safa. A little geso and it's a blank canvas with fun metal accents.

The fish scarf that was so fishy looking that I added a button as an eye.

YOu amaze me with how quickly you produce a painting!!! It is wonderful! I am wondering why you aren't in local galleries around where you live?! The fish scarf is really great too! Love the eye!

Gosh Bethany, you made my day with that comment. I guess the 9-5 gig and bathing babies limits my ability to get out and talk to gallery people about the possibilities. But maybe I'll look into that. Thanks again.

Yes, earning a paycheck does cramp our styles a bit, doesn't it?
The fish scarf really is great.

Oops, reeded to finish the comment BEFORE hitting publish: the fish scarf reminds me of the painting on the cover of the children's story, The Giving Fish, the one where the colorful glittery fish shares one of its scales with many other fish and everyone ends up with one.
