Fiber art

This is a piece I haven't worked on in a year :(
I don't know if it's the fact that it's fall or what but I have a huge urge to get crafty in the fiber way. I have my new sketch book.... but I keep looking at my sewing machine longingly. I think I'm going to give in and take her for a spin this weekend. Maybe dolls made from outgrown clothing of my girls.
Material Mama has really been in the back of my mind kindling the fiber fire.

You should finish this piece because it is turning out great! I love the pumpkin! And I know what you mean about working with fiber...there's so many cool things out there that it's hard not to be pulled in that direction! Who would have thought this pencil and paper girl would love to sew so much???!

I totaly agree. I never in a millon would have guessed 10 years ago that I'd be swooning over fabric. Crazy!

And who knew this fiber wild woman would ever even contemplate picking up a water color brush or a drawing pencil? One creative medium pushes you to create more. Isn't it great?
Doing felted applique on hardangar! I'm having a hard time getting my head around it. Hardangar is so precise and felt/applique is so free form. Wow!
